Wish. Love. Smile

Happy Friday to all the lovely people out there!!

Quick post to share a card I made for Get Sketchy#71 and Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge#40 (yup!! second entry :D)

Supplies: cardstock: Elle Erre Fabriano!; stamps: smARTworks 2008 (ABC-Together), Skipping Stones, Mark's Finest Papers; ink: Memento (Tuxedo Black); Faber- Castell Markers;

I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's technique of using copics on canvas paper.  Here is a close up of the image (I love this cute image :))

And the inside of the card

Hope you like it!! Thanks for visiting!!

Thinking of you!!

Hope you had a great start to the week!!

The card I am sharing today is a little different from my usual style but those who know me..know that I love experimenting and learning new techniques :) Today I am casing a card by Diane Zechman.

I am playing again for Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge#40 - Show your creativity and FTTC102- Use hardware

I used the stamp from flourishes kids play set and colored the background with water color pencils to create a window scene.  Then I used the pattern paper and brads to create the look of the curtain on the window. The sentiment stamp is from Mark's Finest Papers.

P.S. There's still time to enter my giveaway here.

Hope you like it!! Thanks for visiting!!

Forever Thankful!!

Hey people, its my favorite day of the week!! I LOVE FRIDAYS :)

The card I am showing you today was made a couple of days back but I didn't get time to post it. I am playing Scrappy Saturday Challenge#39- For the love of ribbon at Wee Memories and Monochromatic Color Challenge for Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week in Moxie Fab.

Ribbon is one of my favorite embellishments of all times and used it to fullest on this card. I started by making the background with stripes of gorgeous May Arts Ribbon coloring each stripe a shade darker in descending order. The gorgeous flower is handmade with the same ribbon finished with a Jenni Bowlin vintage button and hand cut and glittered swirls. The sentiment frame is Hero Arts and the sentiment is Mark's Finest Papers inked with Momento Ink.

P.S. I am overwhelmed with the response to my being an Ippity Chick. I am Forever Thankful to all of you for all the encouragement and support. Hope you get the chance to enter my current  giveaway.

This card features my favorite HA set "Oceans of Joy". I am playing again for the Hero Arts January Challenge 2011 so the inspiration came from the card on Page 26 of Hero Arts 2011 Catalog. I stamped the images using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them using Water Colors. I then finished it with a gorgeous May Arts ribbon.

I hope you liked it!! Thanks for visiting!!

Oceans of love !!

Happy Friday to all you beautiful people out there!! My favorite day of the week has arrived :D

The card I wanted to share today is very different both in the terms of color scheme and execution. I am not sure if I am completely happy with it but I love doing things differently and so here it is.

I used Lucy's Sketch - Day 6 and the colors from OTWC#40.

I am playing along the Hero Arts January Challenge and Gray is new black challenge in the Moxie Fab World. I was so inspired by the Hero Arts 2011 Catalog Cover filled with fabric flowers that I decided to use fabric(tore down my DH's T-Shirt :D) for the first time on my project. The "Oceans of Joy" is one of my all time favorite sets from Hero Arts which I bought recently and inked up for the first time. Stamping on fabric is new to me and so is the stamp set used. Hence, I am also putting it up for Paper Issues Challenge - New and Rainbow Lady's Challenge - Its all new to me.

Lucy's Sketch - Day 3

I know...I have missed the Day 2 sketch..I couldn't get my mojo running :(
Hopefully it would return soon. Till then enjoy what I have created for Lucy's Day 3 Sketch. :D

The card I am sharing today is very unlike me(the colors, the sketch, the glitter..I hope you got the idea :) ) but nevertheless I like it. I hope you will too :)
I used the hero arts flourishes{I heart} stamp and used pearls from hero hues to embellish it. Then I added the glitter lines to pull the card together. About the pattern paper, those who know me can say with closed eyes that its newspaper :D
